# Acceleration

For the GCSE course you need to be able to:

Recall and use the equation acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity) / time taken |

Use the equation final velocity squared - initial velocity squared = 2 x acceleration x distance |

Recall that the acceleration of free fall, g, is 10 metres per second squared, and be able to estimate everyday accelerations. |
