Acceleration

For the GCSE course you need to be able to:

Recall and use the equation
acceleration = (final velocity - initial velocity) / time taken
Use the equation
final velocity squared - initial velocity squared = 2 x acceleration x distance
Recall that the acceleration of free fall, g, is 10 metres per second squared, and be able to estimate everyday accelerations.

Activities and worksheets: note that practical sheets are included for reference only - you are not expected to carry out the practical tasks at home.
